The 144 pages hardcover contains a story shot in six cities all over the world, covering pictures of more than forty extraordinary people all captured by one person. His name is Sander Dekker. 

An admiration for the special, eccentric and odd ones is the common theme in the work of this Amsterdam-based photographer. But don’t try to make him a voyeur, that would be too easy and blunt. In ’The Project’ it is all about authenticity, trust and improvisation. Together with a great dose of humour and lots of positive energy this leads to great pictures in which unexpected situations are turned into magical moments.

In addition to the photographs, the book also contains short stories which provide a beautiful insight of his models.
